THE COUNCIL OF INDUSTRY
For years, Go Gladys has partnered with the Council of Industry, building the digital infrastructure and messaging that connects Hudson Valley manufacturers to talent and resources.

The Council of Industry represents manufacturers across the Hudson Valley, advocating on their behalf and connecting them to workforce development resources. For years, that mission lived across two disconnected websites, councilofindustry.org and a separate careers site, splitting the organization’s message and making it harder for manufacturers and job seekers alike to find consistent, current information. The manufacturing jobs section wasn’t accessible to all users, and the site’s SEO foundation needed rebuilding to reach the wider audience of people actively searching for manufacturing careers across the region. More recently, the Council needed a unified content strategy to communicate its core pillars, advocacy, workforce development, community connection, and operational resources, consistently across every channel it uses.
THE CHALLENGE
THE GO GLADYS SOLUTION
We began by consolidating councilofindustry.org and the separate careers site into one destination, rebuilding the manufacturing jobs section to be ADA-compliant and establishing a stronger SEO foundation so manufacturers and job seekers could find what they needed in one place. In 2026, as the organization had grown and evolved we returned to complete a content strategy engagement, defining four core pillars, Advocacy, Workforce Development, Local Community and Connection, and Targeted Resources for Operational Excellence, along with brand voice guidelines for applying them consistently. Along the way, we’ve also supported the Council’s annual Manufacturing Champions recognition breakfast, honoring the region’s manufacturers year after year.

The Council of Industry Video
Each year, the Council’s Manufacturing Champions breakfast honors the people driving manufacturing forward across the Hudson Valley, recipients and the nominators who put them forward.
For the event, Go Gladys recorded interviews highlighting students the Council has helped place into manufacturing careers, putting a face on the pipeline it builds year over year and showing how that work strengthens manufacturing across New York State.
That core-pillars work is now carrying forward into everyday communications, shaping the messaging and email templates and the social media presence that keep every channel speaking with one consistent voice.

THE RESULTS
What resulted was a single, accessible online destination replacing two fragmented sites, an ADA-compliant manufacturing jobs section, and a stronger SEO foundation for reaching manufacturing talent.
The relationship has continued for years, including the Council’s annual Manufacturing Champions breakfast.
Go Gladys has worked alongside SUNY admissions through the Reconnect Grant, building awareness of manufacturing careers in New York State and helping fill seats in the very college programs that train the Council’s future workforce.
